A USD 105 million transmission infrastructure project for Ethiopia Electric Power (EEP) financed by the Swedish Government (SEK) and backed by export credit agency EKN (Sweden) supported with a reinsurance agreement from SACE (Italy). Standard Bank of South Africa participated as the MLA and Agent bank in the transaction. An infrastructure deal team which Clive Pillay led and is still to date the single largest contract awarded to the CONCO Group.
